Nutrition Advice

In an initial 60 minute session, we will discuss your health and weight goals. You will be asked to complete a detailed food diary over a 7 day period, followed by a second consultation during which sustainable changes will be discussed to help you achieve your goals.

If after your single nutrition session you decide that the full nutrition programme would be more suitable for you, it will be possible to upgrade.

Nutrition Programme

This detailed nutrition assessment will take place over a 3 month period. The aim of the programme is to analyse your current diet and work out how to achieve your health and weight loss goals safely, effectively and with lasting results. After 3 months, you will feel fully in control of your diet and will be seeing positive changes in your health, energy levels and self esteem. You will meet with your nutrition adviser 5 times in total and will receive all of the support and information that you will need to follow the programme for the full 3 months. This programme is suitable for all age groups, both genders, designed to help people gain or lose weight, tone up, banish unwanted eating habits and can significantly reduce health problems.

Session 1: Initial consultation (60 minutes) will review your current diet and you will be given a food diary to complete over a period of one week and return for analysis.

Session 2: Second consultation (60 minutes) involves a food diary analysis and goal setting – short, medium and long term

Sessions 3, 4, 5: Follow up appointments to check progress (30 minutes each)

Recipe of the month *Banana, Strawberry and Blueberry smoothie*

The ingredients below will make 2/3 portions.

Each portion supplies 1 of your recommended 5 a day

Ingredients
1 Large Banana, cut into pieces
75g/3oz Blueberries
75g/3oz Strawberries
180ml/6fl.oz. Orange juice
180ml/6fl.oz Natural Yoghurt
4 large Ice Cubes, crushed
Sprinkle of muesli

Instructions:

Place all of the Ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Sprinkle some muesli on top to add a bit of crunch.
