Fitness for mums!
A recent study which surveyed the physical activity
levels of over 1,000 pregnant women has shown that the majority of them did not reach levels of activity recommended to gain
health benefits for the mother and the growing baby. I understand that a lot of pregnant ladies feel anxious
about exercise and can be unsure about which exercises are safe. Some mums to be are already in the habit of exercising regularly
and now wonder what modifications they could make to their normal routine. Home visits can be arranged.
The benefits
of exercise during pregnancy are huge, and include: ~ Exercise reduces symptoms such as morning sickness,
hormone swings and constipation
~
Keeps your body supple and reduces problems with joints, tendons, intestines and circulation
~ Exercise will help make it easier for you to avoid gaining more than the
average additional weight (10-12kg)
~
Labour time can be significantly reduced if the mother's muscles are strong ~ Recovery time after child birth is significantly reduced

Cannon: I am fully qualified to help you. I understand the changes that are occurring
within your body during pregnancy and can help you to modify your exercise accordingly. Every woman is different, so I spend
time with each new client working out the best approach to take and then frequently review the training programme as their
pregnancy progresses.

Benefits of exercise after your baby is born:
~ Banishes the 'baby blues' ~ Tones you up and slims you
down safely and effectively ~ Social benefits of meeting
other new mums in your area
~ Gets you out of the
house!
